Operation Van

One of the most pressing needs for Casa da Graça is a van large enough to transport the girls, and to move food and supplies to the shelter. Currently, the missionaries are limited to using two sedans to shuttle the children which requires that they make multiple trips or occasionally rent a van.
In Brazil, a van large enough for the shelter costs 150,000 reais (equivalent to 60-70,000 USD). Our team is attempting to raise about half of the cost, approximately $30,000, to jumpstart the Van Fund.
Thanks to your generosity, our team was able to raise and donate over $10,000 in 2011. We would like to continue the fundraising efforts as a long-term goal until our trip in 2012.
