The China Missions ministry has visited China from 2005-2011. In the past we have volunteered at a center for disabled children, met local college students, stayed at a small orphanage, and prayed over North Korea. This is an important missions field in which ACC is hoping to maintain presence by continuing the relationships we established and built over the years with His love, kindness, and compassion.
Immediate missions opportunities involve working with a children's center, meeting with college students, helping at a missionary's cafe, as well as spending time at an orphanage near the China/ NK border. We will be departing on July 22nd and returning August 1st, 2012. This being the third missions trip to that particular orphanage, we want to build upon our existing relationship with the people and children. By building a long term relationship we can provide these children with a sense of stability that they desperately need and deserve. Although we cannot openly share the gospel, we can share Christ's love through our actions rather than our words.
