I am writing to tell you about a door that the Lord has opened for me to serve Him this summer. Arcola Covenant Community (arcolacovenant.org) is sending a mission team to serve the Hopi Native Americans in Polacca, Arizona from June 1 – June 8, 2012. During this time, we will be partnering together with Rev. Taeil Lim to teach the people about the hope and love found in Jesus Christ through a Vacation Bible School while also doing some construction and repair.
We are prayerfully asking you to consider becoming a partner with us on this mission trip. The cost of the trip is approximately $600 for each member, which will cover the cost of airfare, lodging, food, and materials. We also need prayer partners who will lift up the team and the people we will be ministering to before and during the trip.
If you desire to support us via check, all donations must be made out to “Arcola Covenant Community” with “Arizona Mission” written in the memo. If you would like your donation to be eligible for tax deduction purposes, please do not write my name on the check. In addition, the church will issue receipts for this tax-deductible donation if requested.
